Drop
Caps in Quark XPress
|
| Go
to the Style menu. You can adjust the position of a drop cap
horizontally by adjusting its' baseline shift and a drop cap's
vertical position can be adjusted using the Kern command. |

Removing
Logoff from the Start Menu
|
| Right-click
on an empty space on the TaskBar, click on Properties, click
on Advanced, and in the Start Menu And Taskbar panel, deselect
Display Logoff. |

Sharper
Images in Photoshop
|
| When
using the Unsharp Mask filter, the filter automatically adjusts
each color channel causing unwanted halos around the edges of
your image. To keep this from happening, convert your image
to Lab mode by choosing Image, Mode, Lab Color. Then apply the
Unsharp Mask to the Lightness layer only in the Channels palette.
This will bring out the detail without affecting the colors
of your image. |
